Lais Gomes

Lais Gomes is a Master of Laws candidate at the University of Toronto, with a background in policy, gender justice, and human rights advocacy in both Brazil and Canada. She currently works at the Senate of Canada, supporting issues management, and parliamentary research. Lais also serves on the board of Luke’s Place, a legal support organization in Ontario for women and children fleeing abuse and navigating the family law system. She is preparing to write the Ontario Bar Exam in February. Lais unwinds by going for long walks, playing volleyball with friends, and discovering new neighbourhood cafés.
